Kayak is their name, it was born in 1972 some where in Holland. Who are they? Pim Koopman (vocals, drums & guitar), Ton Scherpenzeel (vocals, keyboards & bass), Max Werner (vocals, mellotron & drums), Michel Marion (bass) and Johan Slager (vocals, guitar). This might be not so populer as other European music groups, but they could make song with very neat composition from vocal, backing vocal, tempo, mix with other instruments like accoustic guitar, piano, bass etc. Here is one of their monumental song even not everybody knows or ever heard. Both of them are American symbols, Eagles are considered spiritual messengers between gods and humans by some cultures, and that gentleman was a symbol of democratic and peace, even assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1814 Francis Scott Key made The Star-Spangled Banner Lyrics, and that lyrics became  national anthem of the United States of America. Joan Chandos Baez born January 9, 1941 in Staten Island, New York. In 1956, she heard young Martin Luther King, Jr speak about nonviolence, civil rights and social change, the speech made her cried and influenced her soul. Several years later, they became friends. Brave, tough, easy to cry when she sees something improper, humanism, against the war, close to poverty, supporting the minority etc.....etc.....etc... In August 1963, she led a crowd of 300,000 in singing "We Shall Overcome" at The Lincoln Memorial. This song originally was We Will Overcome" first appears and published this lyrics in 1901 as  gospel music  composition by  Charles Tindley an African Methodist Episcopal Church. The song was published in 1947 as "We Will Overcome" and We Shall Overcome" is a protest  song  against the unequal civil rights.
